English Dub Review: World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman “Journey to Siberia”
Just like every series from the beginning of the Winter 2015 Broadcast Dub season, World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman is entering the final stretch of its first season. This final stretch brings Moroha into a head on collision with the very formidable Russian Terror. The best part is that “Journey to Siberia” had Moroha cut a path through most of Russia, all without tallying a single person on a kill count.
There wasn’t much story to “Journey to Siberia,” except watching Moroha cut through the Russian tundra with a fiery vengeance. I wish there was more to it, but just like The Rolling Girls, this is setting up something much bigger. This time, it’s a showdown with the big bad of the World Break universe, The Russian Terror. I was very satisfied with the 20 something minutes of Moroha just cutting through people who are barely able to make Moroha sweat.
I was very satisfied with “Journey to Siberia,” because there didn’t need to be a lot of plot, just a lot of action. There isn’t much that could have been added. The one cut away to the girls at school did enough to push the story forward, yet it felt like it didn’t really belong. “Journey to Siberia” was supposed to amount to be an action story of Moroha cutting through Russia, getting closer to the Russian Terror. Going back to school served no purpose. Other than that brief interlude, “Journey to Siberia” was an episode that just made sense as a no frills action story.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
