It took more than a month, but Family Guy returned with a new episode on FOX this past Sunday Night, unfortunately, I don’t think anyone even knew about it according to a new note from Deadline.com:

Fox aired original of Family Guy (1.5, down -12% from its most recent original).

A new episode of The Simpsons airs this Sunday Night on FOX, so it’ll be interesting to see if FOX starts bulking up its marketing efforts sooner rather than later. Family Guy could sure use it.
