Review: Kirby Buckets “It’s a Brad, Brad, Brad, Brad World”

Spoilers Below
Kirby Buckets flushes his phone and breakfast burrito down the toilet while trying to take a piss and it causes the stall to explode out into the hallway.
This kid Dave comes over and starts mocking the fact that Kirby takes big shits, which 10 years from now everyone’s going to be jealous of. Meanwhile, Fish and Eli decide to take on magic as a new hobby to try and get women. Labeled the ‘turdinator’, Kirby heads to lunch where no one wants to sit with him or his friends. Ya gotta hand it to Fish and Eli though, they stay behind their pal and they all eat lunch together.
Instead of leaving to go home the regular way, the guys decide to traverse through ‘Brad-lands’ and they stumble onto a bag filled with buttons. The guys bring them into school, and all of a sudden they are all the rage. As a result, Kirby decides to go through ‘Brad-lands’ to get more of those buttons. He gets them, but Gil highly recommends that Kirby bring those buttons back to where they came from. No chance says Kirby, as the new buttons get him out of the dog house with Dave and even act as a new form of currency making him popular as hell around school. One of the Brads from ‘Brad-lands’ decides to confront Kirby and threatens to destroy Gil if he doesn’t get his buttons back.
Back at school, Eli, Fish, and Kirby do everything they can to get their buttons back, but no one’s budging. Kirby decides to tell the school that those buttons were contaminated from the toilet overflow, and thereby should be returned. The guys head back to ‘Brad-lands’, but just as it seems as though the town residents are going to bull shit them even when holding up their end of the bargain, Fish uses his magic to commandeer a tennis ball gun shooter and defeat the Brads.
Later, Dawn decides to sign up for peer-to-peer counseling along with Belinda. Problem is, Dawn gets kicked out for being a gossip Queen while Belinda gets all sorts of praise.
Our Take
No one really uses the word ‘turd’ anymore to describe feces, but I’m fine with it making a come back for episodes of Kirby Buckets. The direction of this week’s episode was absolutely killer. I loved the ‘Brads-land’ and anytime our producers treat this show with the rules of a cartoon then it’s a good thing. Alternate dimensions, funny bits like Brad leaving Kirby’s house, or the fact that Kirby was trying to master the art of pissing/eating/music.
That said, there was a lot I didn’t like about this episode. Dawn’s sub plot was almost meaningless, and what little purpose Fish and Eli had this week with being magicians really came to fruition a rather lame outcome. Overall, this was a solid week of Kirby Buckets, and as such maybe we’ll get invaded by Brads again, soon.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
