Here’s what a ‘Last Man on Earth’ animated series would look like
Last Man on Earth is so funny that it’s probably going to move to Thursday Nights to replace the probably cancelled Backstrom series starring Rainn Wilson. In the meantime it airs Sunday Nights @ 9:30 pm ET/PT, after Family Guy.
However, something interesting happened the other day. Family Guy posted this promo:
Right away I couldn’t help but wonder if an animated series version of The Last Man on Earth would work. The live-action series stars Will Forte and Kristen Schaal, two people known for various voice roles such as Bob’s Burgers and Gravity Falls (Schaal) and the upcoming Moonbeam City (Forte).
The series is produced by the guys who made Clone High and the show airs Sunday Nights on FOX. So, why wouldn’t an animated take on The Last Man on Earth, work? Sound off below, but until we see an animated rendition of FOX’s funniest comedy in years, we’ll have to watch the live-action version Sunday Nights @ 9:30 pm ET/PT only on FOX.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
