‘Axe Cop’ Season Two & ‘Major Lazer’ Series Premiere Set for April 16th

ANIMATION DOMINATION HIGH-DEF: Axe Cop on FOX.

Two highly-anticipated FXX Animation Domination premieres will both take place on Thursday, April 16th at midnight: season two of Axe Cop, and the series debut of Major Lazer.

For those unaware, Axe Cop is the brainchild of Ben Jones (The Problem Solverz, Stone Quackers) and stars Nick Offerman in the title role, along with Ken Marino, Rob Huebel, Megan Mullally, Patton Oswalt, and Tyler the Creator.

Major Lazer is the TV version of an electronic music project created by DJs/producers Diplo and Switch, and has been in the works for a few years now.

For more info & background, let’s go straight to the source:

FXX’s Animation Domination features fresh episodes of Major Lazer and Axe Cop along with encore showings of Lucas Bros. Moving Co., Stone Quackers, High School USA!, Golan the Insatiable and other animated shorts. The predecessor to FXX’s programming block, Animation Domination High-Def or ADHD, premiered on FOX in July 2013 as a new, late night animated programming block and digital multi-platform network featuring alternative animated series, shorts and user-adapted material. ADHD launched with Axe Cop, High School USA! and Lucas Bros. Moving Co., and offered fans and aspiring talent a unique opportunity to engage with professional FOX-curated content.

Be sure to tune in on Thursday, April 16th at midnight to see what the fuss is all about.
