Will Funimation Bring the Big Guns to their Broadcast Dub Initiative?
It seems that Funimation doesn’t want to screw around for much longer.
Well, this is would surely boost the profile of Funimation’s Broadcast Dub program. One Piece brand Manager Josh Kocurek was on the One Piece Podcast last week, and unleashed a bombshell. Funimation is considering jumping episodes, and putting One Piece in a future season of Broadcast Dubs. While Funimation is mulling that over, they are looking to viewers for feedback.
If you ask me, this would be HUGE! The show, Funimation, and the Broadcast Dub initative would all get huge buzz. If they brought one of the most popular shows in the Funimation portfolio to one of the most innovative dubbed anime initiatives, the only direction it can go is up.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
