Streaming Release Date for Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin Unveiled!

Anime Consortium Japan announced that Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin will be released simultaneously in both Japan and America by Sunrise, and in both Japanese and English on February 28th. Daisuki.net will handle the premium rental streaming when Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin premieres.
Anime News Network is also reporting on the cast announcements for both the Japanese and English cast. You can catch that announcement here. Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin will retell the story of the original Mobile Suit Gundam as a four part OVA. So, it’s getting the Berserk and Evangelion treatment, and I cannot wait. Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
