Axe Cop Season 2 (and maybe Major Lazer?) get start dates
The official Facebook page for Axe Cop has announced an April 16th, 2015 start date for season two of the popular animated series inspired by web comics created by Ethan and Malachai Nicolle. The show followed Axe Cop and his partner-in-crime Flute Cop as they chop heads off of evil one bad guy at a time. Season One premiered as part of FOX’s ADHD lineup a few years back, and is now readying a return on FXX’s Animation Domination.
The show stars Nick Offerman as Axe Cop, Ken Marino as Flute Cop, and every episode that aired as part of the first season had SOME sort of guest star be it Michael Madsen, Jordan Peele, and even Dan Harmon.
In the meantime, FXX’s Animation Domination has a bunch more of Lucas Bros. and Stone Quackers on the way. That said, the last we spoke with Animation Domination producer Nick Weidenfeld, he told us that Diplo’s Major Lazer will be premiering with Axe Cop season 2, so hopefully that’s still happening.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
