“Big Rock Candy Flim-Flam

The Queen’s mother is coming into town, but when she does time stops…literally stops due to a crystal breaking in the clock tower. As a result, the 7D have to find a new crystal before midnight. They eventually do find some rock candy, and after fighting off Candy Sprites, time is restarted and the family reunion ensues.

In my opinion, this was by far the better of the two episodes. The candy sprites were a nice change of pace from the normal villains we’ve been seeing on the series, and the clock busting on a crystal was a very well-thought out idea.  I didn’t really care for the reason why the clock needed to be fixed, but the whole concept was very appealing.

 Doing the 7D Dance”

The 7D invents a dance that just takes over Jollywood. The Queen, townsfolk, even Grim all get on the craze and it gets so bad that Hildy attempts to send the Queen and the 7D into space via a rocket, but Doc is able to go all Armageddeon and just drive it back to Jollywood. More dancing leads to Hildy’s exit.

Ugh…hated this. Was it the song? Was it the constant singing of the song? Was it the dance?  I have no idea, but after four minutes of it I just wanted to sledgehammer my TV. This was by far the worst 7D episode I had ever seen.
