Review: Regular Show ”Mordecai and Rigby Go Down Under”

Mordecai and Rigby attempt to take a nap in the park, but they end up being boxed and shipped to Australia. They call up Benson, but he’s no help and threatens to fire the guys if they don’t show up to work. As a result, the duo has to walk all the way to the airport, but as luck would have it, they find a lift. Once we arrive to the airport, we learn just how expensive it is to actually fly from Australia to the US, which leaves Mordy and Rigby stuck. But, when the Prime Minister arrives, an old foe tries to make an example only for Mordecai and Rigby to jump in and save the day! The guys get a free flight back home and even fall asleep on the way there…but when they wake up they are back in Australia!

A nice little deviation from the Mordy/Marg/CJ arcs this week, and the guys getting the shit kicked out of them by the kangas was pretty hysterical, as a matter of fact, almost as funny as when they tried to fight those ducks in episode 100. The montage was cool,too, anyone that was a fan of Beavis and Butthead: Do America will notice some similarities, however you could say that for the entire premise of the series. The Groundhog Day-esque twist ending certainly provided a jolt, so be sure to go down on this one and enjoy it.
