Review: Naruto Shippuden “A Message from the Heart”
Oh shit! The title character still exists!
Wow, it seemed like it was just yesterday when the Great Ninja War Arc started, and Naruto was put into solitary confinement. Thankfully, Naruto is finally let out of seclusion, and is ready to start turning the tide of the war. How did the season finale stack up to the rest of the season? Well, That’s a pretty good question.
This definitely signifies that it’s the end of a season. Naruto broke out, because he kept feeling the Nine-Tails chakra while he was inside. That drove Naruto nuts, because he felt that he shouldn’t have been secluded while everyone fought for him. That’s a logical conclusion, right? Naruto has been overly persistent in fighting his own battles. Of course, Iruka shows up, and plays to the fatherly figure that Naruto thinks of Iruka, but Naruto just powers out of it.
Naruto singlehandedly defeated Pain, even though it was through Naruto’s notorious Talk-no-Jutsu. However, he was able to stand six to one against the Six Paths of Pain. Naruto was easily the most powerful character without the last name of Uchiha, yet he is still underestimated by his superiors and opponents. Being the most powerful isn’t enough, so the writers decided to get Shonen book of god characters, and write Naruto’s name into it. Some things just don’t surprise me after Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Yugioh, and any other long running manga brought to you by Shonen Jump.
The problem now, is that the series is coming up on it’s swan song. Yeah, there’s about two years left in the show, but in the 10 plus year run of Naruto, that’s like the front end of the car coming out of a tunnel. The action definitely ramps up, because the preview for the next episode shows Madara controlling the Gedo Statue in an attack on the beachhead. Things are definitely starting to get interesting. Naruto is going to be even more powerful, yet somehow, we’re still going to find him endearing. Naruto is still going to be the same lovable idiot, no matter how many new powers he gets.
Anyway, there is very little to wait for because next week, the new season starts! With Madara on the battlefield, things are going to get escalated in a big way. Also, A and Tsunade still want Naruto no where near the battlefield. How on Earth are they going to stop him? Better start watching “A Message from the Heart” right here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
