Ratings Are In 1/5/15: Fox Cartoons are up!
It felt good to get some brand-new cartoons back after so many weeks of reruns, and I think cartoon fans agree. Proof of this can be seen in Deadline’s latest ratings report where they give us the full run down:
All Fox comedies that followed posted big ratings gains. The Simpsons (4.6) was up +59% from its most recent original on December 7; Family Guy(2.8) was up +22%, and Bob’s Burgers (1.9) was up +46%. Fox easily won the night in all measures.
Yep…easily! I actually think that if there was an original animated series on after The Simpsons, we would’ve seen steadier numbers for Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers. This weekend is the last run of brand-news of which afterwards we have to wait two weeks for more new originals. In the meantime, let’s enjoy what we are getting.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
