Lucas Bros. Moving Company is a series that stars twin brothers Kenny and Keef Lucas living in Brooklyn and working for their own moving company. The duo can frequently be seen getting high on their couch, hanging out at the bar with Jerrod, and doing anything they can do to avoid any major heavy-lifting.
Stone Quackers
Network: FXX
Premier: January 2nd, 2015
Follow the adventures of duck-best friends Whit, Clay, Dottie, and Barf. And an officer Barry voiced by the brilliant John C. Reilly.
The Simpsons
Network: FOX
Premiers January 4th
The Simpsons are now in post-cross over mode as efforts with Family Guy, LEGO, and Futurama are all in the rear-view mirror. However, that doesn’t mean a bunch of new stuff isn’t on the way, as already we’ve seen a the family visit with Kang & Kodos, and next week sees the premier of ‘Bart’s New Friend’ written by Judd Apatow 25 years ago. Other synopses on the docket include a guest star appearance from Elon Musk, an episode that presents Lisa with a bunch of difficult math jokes, and a new one with Grampa as the star! Last, but not least, we get to see toddler versions of Bart and Lisa which should air some-time this Spring only on FOX.
Family Guy
Network: FOX
Premiers January 4th
We just got done with an ‘excellent adventure’, but Family Guy’s got a whole bunch more the rest of the way! Still to come is a guest spot featuring Liam Neeson whom gets beat up by Peter, and the eponymous 250th episode that will see Stewie become impregnated with Brian’s baby…let that sink in for a moment.
Bob’s Burgers
Network: FOX
Premiers January 4th
The new season returned last night with Tina as the hall monitor, but still to come we get to see the kids join a go-kart league, Louise’s enemy Logan getting a job at the restaurant, and Bob looking to combine efforts with Teddy’s home-made booze.
Star Wars Rebels
Network: Disney XD
Premiers January 5th
Tonight, Yoda, but we should see the conclusion of the first season of Star Wars Rebels sooner rather than later due to the fact that season two is getting sneaked in just a few months. Even more interesting will be what kind of stories get told with Episode 7 on the way, and the already rumored animated series set to companion with the future trilogy.
Archer
Network: FX
Premiers January 8th
The cast of Archer returns to that of a familiar spy agency setting minus the official ISIS name and judging from the promos FX has been posting, everyone is forgetting about their Vice shit as Cheryl is seen burning all of her country music stuff, Pam is fat again, and Cyril drops the dictator gimmick. However, a bunch of story lines carry over and will certainly be of interest for the new season such as Archer and Lana’s new baby AJ, Krieger’s clones, and the addition of Christian Slater in what looks to be a more permanent role.
The Venture Bros.
Network: Adult Swim
Premiers January 19th
Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer skipped New York Comic Con 2014 so fans and press alike did NOT have the opportunity to really ask about this, but what we do know given from the original press release posted last year is that we see the Ventures head to space for an hour-long deal adventure that sounds like it could have long-term repercussions for the foreseeable future.
Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special
Network: NBC
Premiers February 15th
You would think that if NBC is going to air a 3-hour special showcasing highlights from memorable sketches in SNL history, that cartoons are going to be a play due to the Robert Smigel-produced ”TV Funhouse” skits of yesteryear. Legendary efforts like The X-Presidents, The Michael Jackson Show, and most famously the Ambiguously Gay Duo which helped launch the careers of Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell. It would be unwise for NBC NOT to recognize at least SOME of this for the special.
The Jack and Triumph Show
Network: Adult Swim
Premiers: February 20th, 2015
We JUST mentioned Smigel, and we’re going to do it twice because he’s got a new series on the way starring his infamous Triumph the Insult Comic Dog made famous by the Conan show. Joining him is Jack McBrayer (Wander Over Yonder) which should make for a more than formidable tag team for Adult Swim.
Community
Network: Yahoo
Premiers: March 17th, 2015
So…what kind of animated episode can we expect now because of the network move?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
