Bubbleblabber vs Carl’s Stone Cold Pick of the NFL Week Cowboys Vs. Packers (2014 Season, Divisional Playoffs)
We’re almost to the end, and wouldn’t you know it…Carl’s picking a Cowboys game. Without even telling you guys, I guarantee you know who is going to pick who, amiright? Here’s who Carl is picking to win the NFC Divisional Round of the 2015 Playoffs.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys and Tony Romo are staring fate in the eyes and it looks like cheese. That said, this team is as determined as I’ve seen my favorite team in the 20 or so years I’ve been following them. Unlike the 2007 Dallas Cowboys team that seemed to be soaring its way into a title game before an early exit, this one features a stout running game lead by DeMarco Murray and a more confident Quarterback. I see a Cowboys win.
Green Bay Packers
Carl takes the Packers, but I think if anyone played against Tony Romo, he’d bet against the Cowboys QB. Eddie Lacy is certainly a threat, but the entire country is going to be staring at Aaron’s calf muscle. Aaron is best when he’s mobile as he’s able to quickly adjust and make the throws down field. With a torn calf, and obvious defensive pressures, I don’t see how Aaron is going to be able to stand up long enough to complete a pass. He might not want to, but don’t be surprised if Aaron gets knocked out of this game.
