Review: Regular Show ”Merry Christmas Mordecai”
Spoilers Below
Eileen has a Christmas party and she invites Mordy’s ex Margaret is going to be there. Obviously, Mordecai is freaking out and it gets worse when he runs into Margaret at the Post Office where he continues to freak out. Mordecai’s brings CJ to the party and Margaret shows up. The girls meet each other, but you can tell there’s something on here. Margaret and Eileen keep trying to tell Mordecai something but they never get the chance, so when CJ heads to the bathroom and Mordecai knocks over a disco ball that sends Margaret and Mordecai to an alternate reality. They come back, and Mordecai and Margaret kiss RIGHT in front of CJ whom storms out in distress. Right before we head out, Eileen tells Mordecai that Margaret is moving in and will be her new roommate.
Regular Show continues to shock every god damn week. It’s Cartoon Network’s best show…fact. I’m amazed at the fact that the producers are starting to bring back the balls of this show and really do a lot of the captivating story lines that we got in say seasons three, four, and early five. I’m actually starting to think that the rest of season five, and all of season six up until the last few weeks, has all been a way of building up CJ for us to like her enough to forget about Margaret, but clearly it hasn’t worked and the writers were hoping for just that. The endings continue to drop bombs, and now I’m hooked. Producers of cartoons for Netflix, take notes and eat hearty, THIS is how you make animated television with arcs.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
