Watch: Gravity Falls completes Rick and Morty Easter Egg

Cassandra Morgan has been giving every episode of Gravity Falls season two a perfect score, though in fairness she’s been handing out tens to anything that wiggles as of late, so I don’t know how you want to take that. Is Gravity Falls season two the best animated series of 2014 or is Cassandra just a bit over-excited?

In any case, the Gravity Falls episode entitled ”Society of the Blind Eye” featured a scene that saw Grunkle Stan throw shit into a portal…but where did that shit go? Enter the Rick and Morty episode ”Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind” and a scene where the Ricks are looking for the real Rick and Morty, only to stumble into a bunch of portals…and guess what comes out the other end? Yep! Stan’s shit!

Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) and Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty) are long-time pals ever since their Fish Hooks days back at Disney and both have enjoyed outstanding careers that only look to be getting better in the next several years. Check out the clip below that shows how both scenes come together.

Gravity Falls is all-new tonight @ 8:30 pm ET/PT on Disney XD and it will probably get a perfect score from Cassandra, and Rick and Morty’s second season should kick off some-time next year on Adult Swim and that should get a bunch of perfect scores from Gonzo or whoever the hell I assign that to (pssst…probably Gonzo).
