Review: Squidbillies ‘A Walk to Dignity’
Spoilers Below
The Sheriff seeks Early out to show him a new statue featuring the officer’s dad taking care of a young Early. It’s here we get a flash back and we get to see youngin’ versions of Early and The Sheriff. Back then, there was a lot of prejudice against squids and Ga Ga Pee Pop was pretty much tortured as a result. The Sheriff’s father was like the Rosa Parks of his time where he would fight for Squids rights. While at first everyone is kinda tentative, townsfolk come to learn that the squid tentacles can suck cancer out of people’s bodies! Of course, none of this is true but it allowed Early to go to school which was as big of a deal as you could imagine because people would riot like crazy. Fortunately for them, Early was only in school for like ten minutes, but that hasn’t stopped Early in being a success story. The statue is unveiled for all of Dougal County to see, albeit with a few alterations courtesy of Early.
After taking a shitty weak off, Squidbillies returns with a Ga Ga episode! We usually get one good one a year, but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the ancestors of both Early and the Sheriff mingling for the purposes of equal rights. It’s always hysterical to see where Early gets his constant badgering people for cash or how the Sheriff became a fat bitch, and I hope we get more Ga Ga episodes because he just is a riot.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
