Ratings Are In 11/25/17: Cartoons are down
Boy, am I happy that my Dallas Cowboys kicked in the collective dick that is the New York Football Giants, and that made Sunday Night all that more entertaining for me. Unfortunately, FOX cartoons didn’t exactly feel the same love, as Deadline is reporting that both originals for The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers were down:
The Simpsons (1.6/4) was down 47% from last week. After a Family Guy repeat, Bob’s Burgers (0.9/2) dived 47% in its second week in its 9:30 PM slot. That result could not have been helped by the lack of new FG as a lead-in as BB had for its November 16 debut in the slot.
Duly noted by the writer, cartoons work best when they premier in bunches. In any case, this weekend won’t be much better as only Bob’s Burgers serves as the lone original new episode for a series in a spot called ”Best Burger” which sounds like the PERFECT episode to air after four days of fat-eating.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
