Jim Carrey Brought a Jeff Daniels Puppet on ‘The Tonight Show,’ Because Jim Carrey
What does Jim Carrey do when he needs to plug Dumb and Dumber To on The Tonight Show and Jeff Daniels isn’t available? Wait. I think he just… Yeah, he just had an idea.
Filling in for his “Dumb” co-star, Carrey brought along a Daniels ventriloquist dummy on Monday to chat with Fallon about the new film, which grossed an astonishing $38 million in its opening weekend.
Carrey joked and sang with dummy Jeff, even sneaking in a line from the first film. It was a pleasant little surprise, as Carrey wasn’t scheduled to appear as a guest that night.
And for the record, 10 of the $38 million of Dumb and Dumber To money was mine, and it was definitely well spent.
