Is there ANOTHER ‘Star Wars’ animated series on the way?
Slashfilm is reporting that not is Star Wars Rebels lasting for a couple more seasons, but that Disney XD has an endgame in store for the series with ANOTHER Star Wars animated series already on the back burner.
According to the article, the NEW Star Wars series would be set during the current Star Wars universe, and by current I mean relating to the Star Wars movie that is The Force Awakens which is set to hit theaters this Summer. Suffice it to say, Disney is setting into motion its Marvel plan of mass destruction, and that no one is safe.
In the meantime, Star Wars Rebels doesn’t come back to Disney XD with new episodes until January 5th in an episode entitled ”Path of the Jedi”.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
