Homer, Slew of Other Famous Faces Get Hit with Salmon on ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’

When John Oliver, former Daily Show correspondent and current host of Last Week Tonight, isn’t busy making a strong and intelligent political statement, he’s pretty damn funny. And 90% of the time, he’s doing both at the same time.

This time, however, he’s not really proselytizing at all, and instead talking about an interesting new invention: the salmon cannon.

After introducing the device and its benefit for spawning salmon, Oliver debuts his show’s own version, and launches salmon at the faces of a number of famous TV and entertainment personalities – including Homer, who actually gets three appearances. (Mmm…salmon…)

And to think, this whole thing came about because humanity genuinely wants to help salmon fuck.
