Spoilers Below

Bender ends up having to ship a can of ‘Robot Chicken Soup’ to a planet that hates humans. Unfortunately, his customers had a cold and they end up coughing all over Bender like a bad habit. Bender ends up taking the germs on to the ship and passes out until the Professor is able to remove the plague and flush it down the drain. Unfortunately, the remnants of the substance render an army of defective robots into that of zombie bots that look to eat all the ‘boards’ in sight. They end up getting to Bender, and Nixon threatens to nuke New New York City if something isn’t done fast. To fight back, the Professor reanimates Bender, gives him an anti-virus, and Bender causes it to spread and destroy all of the zombie bots making him the hero.

This quarter’s issue of Futurama was really, really good. Take Walking Dead and mix it with Futurama, and you’ve got yourself a winner. The dialogue was funny, the scenes featuring the chicken soup and the robots were really well-thought out, and Bender had a lot of really good one-liners. The one drawback was that I felt the plot was a bit loose. I mean, if you’re a slew of zombie-robots, why would humans need to fear you? They were after ‘boards’ and other than the mobile devices we carry, we don’t have any components, so really the only thing that would’ve happened is the robots would have died! In any case, you get a really strong issue of Futurama, and all of the sudden, November looks like a really good month for the franchise.
