Todd McFarlane teases new Spawn Animation
They don’t do a lot of animation programming, but when HBO does produce animated television it comes out incredible. Life and Times of Tim, and Spawn are two examples of this, with arguably the latter being one of the best if not THE best animated series’ inspired by a comic book ever. And it’s important to note this was back in the late 90s when comic book adaptations of content wasn’t all that great (see Superman 64).
Fast forward to last week, the brilliant creator of Spawn has posted a bunch of sketches for an upcoming Spawn animated film which is due to release I don’t know when. Moreover, we have no idea where this thing is going to air, but wouldn’t it be grand if it were not only HBO, but the original voice cast from the series? That would make my Christmas, and your Christmas, and everyone else’s Christmas. Check out the stills from McFarlane’s Facebook page below:
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
