Ted 2 may or may not be filming at New York Comic Con 2014

IGN and Collider should just stop writing about this as both sites haven’t a fucking clue. Collider.com is reporting that on October 20th to the 31st, Ted 2 will be filming scenes in Los Angeles and there’s even a casting call to prove it. IGN.com then reported on that same story saying that the scenes will take PLACE at New York Comic Con, not at San Diego Comic Con. I actually did hear rumors that Ted was filming in Midtown Manhattan this week, but I haven’t seen a confirmation anywhere.

But, here’s what I’m getting from it. I could see Ted 2 filming some scenes in Manhattan this week, but I’m sure that NBC Universal is more than capable of replicating any sort of Comic Con scene in Los Angeles thereby avoiding the huge crowds at the actual New York Comic Con. But who knows? Seth MacFarlane has been known to do surprises before, and TBS’ American Dad WILL be in the house this Sunday, so let’s see what happens. We will be there live-reporting the whole fucking thing, so we’ll letcha know.
