Review: Mr. Pickles ”The Cheeseman”
Spoilers Below
Tommy and the family are going camping and everyone’s excited except Grandpa because he has zero interest being in a desolate location with Mr. Pickles. When the family gets to the camp site, Tommy meets these college kids who tell him all about the Cheese Man whom is like a Jason Voorhees serial killer told in folklore. Eventually, Mr. Pickles grows tired of the college campers and as such he starts slaughtering each and every one of them. The Goodmans try to head out for help, but Pickles, Tommy, and Goodman are still fucking around with the ‘Cheese Man’. Tommy gets trapped in the river and his mom tries to go after him and the real Cheese Man. Pickles continues to pick everyone off one by one until the Sheriff to make the arrest on a guy trying to kill Mr. Goodman. Then our favorite dog kills the Cheese Man once and for all.
If there was ANY show that could pull off an episode that is probably geared more towards Halloween…it’s Mr. Pickles. The Friday the 13th films are some of my favorite slasher films, but I think even the producers of that film would watch this episode and think, ”why didn’t I think of that” in regards to all of the death scenes. And yes, there were a bunch and all of them were just as gross as anything the show has done all year. I was getting a bit lost with the Cheese man’s back story near the end, and Mr. Goodman’s scenes felt rushed. But, overall, this one gets a treat.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
