The town is building a stadium on an old Indian grave site. On the day of its opening, the family wants to go to the game and check out a game! Mr. Pickles is coming with, much to the chagrin of Grandpa. The name of the team? The Old Town Featherheads. The family sits behind the oldest lady in the stadium while Jane heads back home. She ends up running some guy over with fake legs. Back at the game, Tommy catches a record-breaking foul ball, but when an angry mob tries to take it from him, some weird guy shows up to save him. Mr. Pickles throws Grandpa into a room and finds out where TOmmy is from the security cams. Tommy tries to get his baseball signed, and he does but then the weird guy comes back and steals the ball. Tommy heads back to his seat to try and get another foul ball. Mr. Goodman comes back with snacks, but Grandpa escapes the room that Pickles trapped him in to find out that the crazy dude is getting decapped by Mr. Pickles. Tommy and Mr. Goodman leave the game to find Jane drunk and everyone heads home. Mr. Pickles shows up to the house with a signed ball, and then we head downstairs to see more Pickle hell.

Our Take

This week’s episode of Mr. Pickles was not one of my favorites, and as a matter of fact, was somewhat disappointed. We really only had one awesome kill in a sport that kills many. The setup from the beginning with the Indian burial ground was really not pertinent because we only got a split second of the Indian ghosts, and yes while our Native ancestors won in the end, I’m not sure if we did.
