Frankie Carbone suing ‘Simpsons’ producers

I have been watching The Simpsons for 25 seasons and have probably watched the movie Goodfellas 10,000 times, so I’m not sure who to root for here. That’s because Frank Silvero aka ‘Frankie Carbone’ has filed suit on the producers of The Simpsons as he thinks ‘Louie’ is a spitting image of his likeness and he feels he needs to be compensated in the neighborhood of $250 million.

There are probably a number of reasons why this suit is going to be thrown out: 1) If there is ANY inspiration for the ‘Frank Carbone’ character in The Simpsons, you can pretty much put that in as ‘parody’ 2) ‘Frankie Carbone’ was in Goodfellas for a grand total of 30 minutes and really had no dialogue other than some random bumbling and 3) If ANYONE should be pissed about being ripped off, it should be Marin Scorsese and Nicolas Pileggi because those are the guys that produced Goodfellas in the first place.

Good luck with this one Frankie, because this here complaint is going to be sleeping with the fishes fairly soon.
