DVD Review: ‘Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion’
Disney is world famous for producing some of the biggest rip offs in home releases. Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, and a number of other franchises have all had there fair share of home releases that release MAYBE up to six episodes and hardly throw in any special features.
That’s certainly the case for the DVD release of Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion. For $20 you get the full special that aired on Disney XD with a bunch of the animated previews that aired on Disney XD leading up to the series premier of Star Wars Rebels. Other than that, nothing else. You would think that Disney would put in some featurettes about the making of or offer up some commentaries on anything, That certainly isn’t the case here.
If you really want a copy of Star Wars Rebels : Spark of Rebellion, you can just as easily purchase it on Amazon.com for $6. This home release purchase, belongs in captivity in Jar Jar’s collection.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
