David Hyde Pierce talks about being on ‘The Simpsons’ but NOT as Cecil

The season 26 premier of The Simpsons entitled ‘Clown in the Dumps’ was rather great, and although a bunch of other media outlets are complaining about who actually died, we knew who it was all along so we weren’t disappointed.

Another thing happened that night though, David Hyde Pierce (Frasier) had guest starred as himself. Now, this isn’t the first-time Pierce has been on The Simpsons has he has played the role of ‘Cecil’ on more than one occasion and he still gets asked about that role to this day! Watch below what the actor had to say about returning to the longest running animated series in prime time.
