The Ambiguously Gay Duo (Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell) To Reunite for Special Event
Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell, former gay superheroes and Daily Show correspondents, will be appearing together at an event supporting the Montclair Film Festival in New Jersey.
The duo will participate in an in-depth conversation and showcase rare highlights of their past work together.
Colbert and Carell’s [platonic] relationship extends back to their days at the Second City improve group in Chicago, and continued with stints on The Dana Carvey Show, SNL’s “TV Funhouse,” and eventually The Daily Show, up until 2005.
“A Conversation with Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell” is the fourth annual fundraising event for Colbert. He was previously joined by Jon Stewart, Jimmy Fallon, and Jonathan Alter.
The event will take place Friday, November 21st at 8pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in downtown Newark. Tickets prices range from $60 to $250 and are on sale now.
