Wyatt Cenac Puppet Shows How Records (Like His New One) Are Made
“Records: they’re tangible mp3s that provide music lovers with none of the convenience of a digital file. What they lack in portability they make up for in giving the owner an air of superiority over their friends who listen to music through their telephones.”
That snippet from Wyatt Cenac’s YouTube promo for his upcoming record, “Wyatt Cenac: Brooklyn,” sums up the clip quite nicely. It shows the viewers how a record is made, while also providing them with an abundance of hilarious misinformation presented like a documentary or How It’s Made-type video.
The clip is live-action, but contains a puppet version of Wyatt towards the end of its minute-and-a-half runtime. The puppet is also involved in the LP.
“Wyatt Cenac: Brooklyn” hits web and brick-and-mortar stores on October 21st. Wyatt can also be seen in a city near you, assuming you live in one of the cities listed below. Otherwise, you’re fucked. I actually had a chance to catch his stand-up at the Bell House in Brooklyn recently, so the show comes with my personal stamp of approval – which is worth absolutely nothing, because you don’t even know me.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
