Starburns shows off ‘Anomalisa’ BTS pic…issues update

The debut of Anomalisa is getting closer and closer and we can’t wait! Starburns Industries (Rick and Morty) has given a brief update as to the status of where the hell the successfully Kickstarted film has been:

Dear Kickstarters,

We’re really getting down to the production wire here and want to give you some updates.

You’ve all been amazing supporters and we hope that you will hang in there with us until we get to the finish line!

We have 85% of the animation on Anomalisa complete! Our plan is to be done with animation in November and complete post production over the holidays.

Our animators and production team are working 12-hour days, often through the weekends and holidays, to keep us on schedule.

The weeklies are beautiful. We know the finished product will make you all very proud.

To prove that we are closed to completion, the studio also posted up a behind-the-scenes pic featuring one of the sets for the upcoming film and it looks fucking unbelievable:

I have no idea of what this set is being used for in the upcoming film, but it looks pretty incredible. Look at the amount of detail being used in this office setting which includes filing cabinets, desks, computers, and more. No word yet on a release date, but sooner is better than later as far as I’m concerned.
