Review: Squidbillies ‘Limbitless’
Spoilers Below
Only in America can you get hurt a bunch of times and make money doing it. That is the Early way, as he discovers that he makes a bunch of money at work by slicing his limbs because he’s a squid and they grow back anyway. At first, everything seems to be going according to plan, but his body starts to fight back because the limbs end up not growing so quickly after a few cuts. Dan Halen decides to launch an investigation into what Early is really up to, but Sheriff tries to join in on the injury parade, but to no avail. So, what’s a Squid to do? Well, Early ends up in hooks, but he’s got a BUNCH of Squids in his family all with available limbs.
Again, we take part in Squidbillies’ goriest season yet, and although we’ve seen plenty of ‘Get out of work’ schemes from other animated TV shows, no one can quite pull it off like Early. Would I have liked to have seen the Sheriff play a bigger part? Yes. But, I thoroughly enjoyed the montage showcasing all of the ways a Squids’ limb can be taken off, and as such I’m fine with settling for just that. We could be looking at the best show of the year right here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
