Legend of Korra Book 3 officially announced for home release

The Legend of Korra is officially ‘booked’ for DVD and Blu-Ray on December 2nd according to TVShowsonDVD.com. Now, even though we are getting both options, the Blu-Ray sounds WAY better. That’s because on the Blu-Ray we are getting episode commentaries and featurettes for ALL 13 episodes included on the release, while the DVD is only getting a select special features. According to the article:

The BD versions come in 1080i high-def resolution with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, whereas the DVD versions come in widescreen video and English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. Both formats also include Spanish audio tracks as well. Pricing isn’t available yet, but is expected to be the same as the previous releases of Book 1andBook 2 in their respective formats.
