John Oliver, Cookie Monster, and a Whole Mess of Stars Make a Funny Fake News Video

In between shooting Last Week Tonight, John Oliver managed to create a different kind of news show for YouTube – and he had a little help from his friends.

The five-minute, kid-friendly clip from Mashable featured Oliver and his co-host, Cookie Monster, reading fake news stories involving the spelling of various words.

“W-ORD Channel 7 News” is chock full of cameos from other stars too, like Al Roker, Nick Offerman, and [the voice of] Megan Mullally.
