Spoilers Below

Tina’s Erotic Friend Fiction Presents: Battleship Galac-Tina

Tina and the kids are an intergalactic adventure when they hear a robot come aboard their space craft. Turns out this robot knows how to dance and Tina is more than happy to keep him on board to prove otherwise. Just don’t ask him to do ‘The Robot’.

Louise’s Unsolved Mysteries and Curious Curiosities

Louise likes to check out a certain book and draw pictures inside, but so does someone else. When Louise tries to ask Mr. Frond about who is checking out her book, he declines to answer so she goes on a stake out during school library hours. A few days later she reopens the book to learn that a NEW cartoon has been drawn inside which leads to a suspect that she pretty much knew about all along (hint: it’s someone that works at the school).

Gene Belcher Presents:

Genemadeus, the Musical

Gene isn’t exactly a talented song writer, but Peter is. So Gene asks Peter to write him a song in exchange for money as long as he has it by the next performance. Peter does just that, but isn’t able to finish before he goes to sleep, so Gene just breaks out a song about farts.

This month’s issue is a LOT better than the first outing,. The dialogue for the kids reads a lot closer to how the TV show presents it and although we really don’t get any stories with united efforts to tackle something like the show does, the individual efforts were solid enough to help stave off any monotony. However, just like the first issue, issue #2 of Bob’s Burgers comics again features no stories involving Linda or Bob and really nothing pertaining to the restaurant, but it looks like that changes in Issue #3 as Bob and Linda are BOTH featured in the synopsis, so we have that to look forward to. A solid effort, and a serviceable buy to help you get through new Bob’s Burgers withdrawals until the FOX premier happens on October 5th.
