Review: Robot Chicken “The Hobbit: There And Bennigan’s”

Dumbledore-

Dumbledore is sick and only has about six months to live. But what has he really done with his life? If he’s going to die, he wants to be remembered. Might as well make a meth-like potion. The story then pretty much mirrors Breaking Bad 1 for 1. I won’t spoil the ending but let’s just say that it may leave you “shell shocked.”

Kitchen Commandos-

Pvt. Pizza is writing a letter to his mother about the atrocities of the battles in the Food War. His battalion was ambushed and he had to become a killer today. The battle may be over but the war rages on as a suicide taco runs in. Pvt. Pizza dives on him to save his crew. A truly touching story!

Sheep-

A couple is in bed and the woman is having a bit of trouble sleeping so the man next to her suggests counting sheep. The dream starts normally with the sheep jumping over a fence but this dream quickly takes a turn as the sheep are now interned at a prison. The guard reminds them that there only reason for existence is to help humans sleep. When a sheep shows up late he’s reprimanded but instead of just taking it he fights back. He gets a bullet to the head for his troubles. The remaining sheep rally and overtake the guard as the woman wakes up and proclaims that her sleep was “just ok.”

G.I. Joe Extreme-

Cobra has developed a mind controlling energy drink. They’ll be giving it away at the X-Games so there’s only one team that can help: G.I. Joe Extreme. Yup, the terrible team from the 90s. We then hear a bunch of terrible puns and see a lot of soldiers with frosted tips. When their lame, 90s tactics fail, G.I. Joe Extreme call in an air strike. We then head to a courtroom where a judge sentences the team to death for being too extreme.

Sketch Of The Night!-

There was a lot to be proud of during this episode. All of the crowd surfing skits were really funny, the G.I. Joe Extreme bit was great and the Kitchen Commandos were really awesome. I actually kinda marked out a bit when I saw the Kitchen Commandos because I had all of those toys when I was a kid and had since completely forgotten about them.

I’ll give Kitchen Commandos the nod for nostalgia.
