Ratings Are In: The Simpsons have been HUGE for FXX
Not surprisingly, The Simpsons turned out to be the biggest coup for FXX which is good because the network has really struggled to find its identity ever since its inception. According to Deadline.com, FXX is doing something like four times more than what it’s ratings averages typically are!
The most watched episode of Day 1: 8:30 PM’s “Itchy & Scratchy & Marge,”which topped the day 1.23 million viewers – 749,000 of them in the 18-34 demo.
The ratings I am waiting for are the numbers from FXX showcasing what happens when its sister network FXX airs Simpsons re-runs at the exact same time. It’s something no one has really done before, so hopefully we can get yesterday’s numbers for AniDom in sooner than later.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
