FOX going with Two to replace Kevin Reilly at top post

With Kevin Reilly out of the picture at FOX, it was only a matter of time before the network brought on a replacement to man the network as we head into a busy fall season. However, FOX didn’t just want a man, they wanted a power-lady, too!

20th Century FOX TV chairmen, Gary Newman and Dana Walden, will be manning the top post at FOX Network according to a report from Deadline.com which goes on to further explain the changing heirarchy:

There were several kinks to work out, including who reports to whom. As studio heads, Walden and Newman report to Chase Carey, president and chief operating officer of 21st Century Fox, while Reilly reported to Fox Networks Group president Peter Rice. I hear in the new structure, Walden and Newman will likely report to Rice.

Kevin Reilly has already instilled changes to the Animation Domination lineup for the upcoming season, so I doubt that Gary and Dana’s presence will be felt this fall. But, 2015? That could be a whole new ballgame.
