DVD Review: The Boondocks Complete Fourth Season

If you guys want to get a complete rundown of what we thought of The Boondocks’ Fourth Season on Adult Swim, check out our season review in the upcoming Bubbleblabber the Magazine Issue #3  which releases tomorrow. For the rest of you looking for whether or not you should get this…the last season of The Boondocks on DVD, this is for you.

You would think the last DVD ever would have a more tour de force in terms of special features (aka the only reason you should be forking $30 over to begin with), but that certainly is not the case here. What you do get are two featurettes, one featuring an interview with the music producers, the other a six minute interview with Rodney Barnes. While the latter feature is rather interesting, it’s hardly worth the price of admission for this whole package. You’re better off just watching the free AdultSwim.com marathons or just watch the episodes on Saturday nights on Toonami. If you want a better idea on what to do for your $30, find a lighter and torch it.
