Shorts Review: Stoopid Buddy Shortz – “Father Blast Beats”

This short opens up on what can only be described as a demon bar. Just demons, wall to wall. Two demons are arguing about sticking pigs where the sun continues to not shine when the only human in sight walks into the room. After ordering red wine (suspicious?), the newcomer ignores the two demons point out how much he sticks out and asks about the functionality of the jukebox. As he approaches the jukebox, a swarm of demons surrounds him and one of them asks, “any last words?”

What follows can only be described as a violent dedication to Quentin Tarantino. Once it is revealed that the newcomer is a gun-wielding badass priest that quotes the more vengeful parts of the Bible, a head-exploding gunfight explodes in the bar. Once the smoke clears and our badass priest makes a few classic action movie quips, he exits with the flick of a match and a cross burnt into the floor. I want to described it more effectively but… seriously badass. That is all.
