Review: Robot Chicken – “Panthropologie”

 

Spoilers Below!

Halo-

Cortana warns Master Chief of an oncoming attack. Master Chief thinks the best course of action is to take a leak before the battle so he’s fresh, but when Cortana comes back and catches a glimpse of “Little Chief” she’s less than impressed. After she goes back away, MC tries to chub himself up to show that the first instance was only a fluke. He summons back for Cortana and one again she’s less than impressed.

Drones In G.I. Joe-

The President has cut military spending to the point that the General must choose between eliminating the Joe’s or eliminating the Drone program. Once Hawk realizes that the Joe’s are obsolete he commits suicide, making the case for drones that much easier. We then see a montage of drones swiftly and efficiently eliminating each member of COBRA.

Animal Totems-

 

The Visionaries are receiving their animal totems. Tobey is upset that his stealth has earned him the “toothpick fish,” which is most famous for swimming into a man’s urethra in the Amazon and requiring elaborate surgery to remove. He thinks his powers will be useless, that is until the bad guys bust in and decide to piss on the bodies of the other Visionaries. He is able to swim up into the villain’s junk but unfortunately stays inside as the villain flees.

Lego World War B –

Off brand blocks have a taste for Lego blood and it’s up to Jerry to solve the problem, just like World War Z except with more viewers and probably a better storyline. The Lego’s are able to escape to their headquarters in Denmark but a barbershop quartet’s bad singing has drawn the evil blocks in. A scientist there developed a serum that will camoflage the Legos and make them look like knock off brands as well. Jerry takes the serum and turns into a Duplo, which is a bigger brand of Lego and is quickly dismantled by the creatures. As his head rolls away he questions if this is a good enough ending and asks for a reshoot.

Apparently it is just like World War Z.

Sketch Of The Night!-

Soooo many sketches could qualify for this tonight and surprisingly none of them are the features. “Forrest Gump”, “Dr. Doom”, “Killing The Anteater”, and “Bears” could have been standouts on any other episode of Robot Chicken. Tonight, however, I’m gonna give the nod to “Dr. Doom” because if the UN council didn’t strike down his motion the world we live in wouldn’t be safe for democracy. That’s what you kids are into nowadays, right? Democracy?
