Hopefully changes ahead as Cartoon Network taps new scheduling VP

In terms of scheduling, 2014 SUCKS for Cartoon Network. Gone are the days when I could get home from the office, eat dinner, and watch Steven Universe or Uncle Grandpa and enter a day where I come home, eat dinner, and instead I get King of the Hill reruns. I definitely preferred the days where we had a bunch of original programming at 8 pm, but then back in March, Cartoon Network changed all that, THEN earlier this month they changed all that AGAIN by putting most of their programming on Thursdays.

Welp, more changes COULD be on the way, as Deadline is reporting that Cartoon Network has taken on a new VP of programming scheduling named Vishnu Athreya  whom will oversee day-to-day scheduling and strategic positioning of programming for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and branded non-linear program platforms. He will serve as departmental lead for long-range calendar planning, and with developing creative strategies for on-air stunts and special events surrounding the networks’ growing library of original, acquired and classic animated programming.

It will be interesting to see if Vishnu can provide some stability moving forward with the Cartoon Network scheduling. What do you guys think? Are there shows you want BACK on the schedule while others taken off? Sound off below.
