Harmon and Dino offer up ‘Anomalisa’ update

It has been almost two years since the stop-motion animated film, Anomalisa, was funded successfully by way of Kickstarter. To get an idea how long this movie has been in development, imagine if Dino Stamatoupolos and Dan Harmon brutally murdered someone in this same amount of time, they could still be taken to court. Unfortunately, these guys work in television so these laws do not apply to them (unless of course they really did murder someone), but producers Dan and Dino DID offer up an update on the project as well as a bunch of stats as to how much time actually goes into a stop-motion project.

For those that don’t know, Anomalisa is a new animated film from Charlie Kaufman that follows a man crippled by the mundanity of his life. As of now the 80-minute film is about 70% done in production with no release date set, but it sounds like we COULD get a finished product before Christmas.
