Former Film Roman CEO David Pritchard has been nabbed on fraud charges according to a new report from the Los Angeles Times. Turns out that David’s new company, Gigapix, defrauded investors for about $22 million after having raised the money for a 3D film version of The Wizard of Oz.

Instead of using the money for production on the film, David and other executives at Gigapix had used the investment to line not only their employees’ pockets, but their own in the form of salaries, commissions, and  more.

David Pritchard was a former producer on such hit animated fair on King of the Hill and The Simpsons, but now he has been indicted and will soon be arraigned in front of a US District Court.
