Comedy Central, Twitter, and more XBOX apps added
Nowadays, you may be surprised to learn just how many television networks have their own apps nowadays! It used to be such a novelty back in the day, but I think just about all the TV networks out there have SOME sort of an application that allows you to watch content on your favorite home and game devices. But, what’s next? What is the next MAJOR leap in internet television? Well, Microsoft may have the answer for you.
Along with adding new apps for Comedy Central and a bunch of other TV networks, Microsoft is making a concerted effort in integrating Twitter and Vine services that should help the XBOX One in sowing the seeds of not only being a game console, but a legitimate competitor to cable television services like Comcast and Time Warner Cable. The ironic part about this is, is the fact that Microsoft is actually a minority stake holder in Facebook, so seeing them make better efforts in integrating Twitter is interesting to say the least.
XBOX Executive Larry Hryb, made a video explaining a bit more in detail as to what’s to come for XBOX with Twitter as well as a number of other new features that should make XBOX owners happy while they wait for games.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
