First images leak for Family Guy/Simpsons cross-over

”The Simpsons Guy” episode of Family Guy will air this fall on FOX and from the sounds of it FOX is getting ready to set this one up almost like a special akin to how the network really worked over the Simpsons-LEGO special that aired a couple of weeks back. Even more exciting is that FOX exec Kevin Reilly has announced that the cross-over will be an hour-long deal…wait.

Didn’t we JUST report yesterday that FOX was fucking up the Animation Domination schedule so they can put Brooklyn 99 and Mulaney as part of the Sunday Night lineup? I can’t imagine FOX airing 30 minutes of this special, then stopping, then continuing the extra 30 minutes. As a matter of fact, even though the episode is called ”The Simpsons Guy”, the episode is being written and produced by the Family Guy crew so this episode would have to start at 9 pm and go for the full hour just in time for local news. Is FOX planning to air a Simpsons episode and ”The Simpsons Guy” episode in the same night? Lots of questions that we need to get answered…
