Dreamworks Dragons moves to Netflix 2015
We had a good time covering Dreamworks Dragons: Defenders of Berk on Cartoon Network, but now the show moves to Netflix in Spring 2015! But, don’t worry kiddos, the show is bringing back all of the familiar voices from the series/movie. According to THR:
Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera, who voiced the two Viking heroes in the How to Train Your Dragon films, are set to return, along with Christopher Mintz-Plasse and T.J. Miller.
I actually had a feeling that Dreamworks was looking to move the show after this season on Cartoon Network, but I never had my finger on Netflix. Recently, the huge production company has been trying to build up a bigger TV presence and there were even talks of a Dreamworks TV network happening, but with this move along with franchises like Turbo, Madagascar, and Puss in Boots all ending up on Netflix, they may not even need it.
Will fans of Dragons move to Netflix? What say you guys??
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
