AniDom Weekend Wrap Up: College Fair and Pocket Fries

 

Here are some takeaways from this past Sunday’s Animation Domination:

1) We haven’t had a bunch of Gene episodes, so it was good to see him get a really good one. #Bob’sBurgers

2) Billy Eichner is kinda the best. #Bob’sBurgers

3) At the core of The Simpsons-LEGO episode was a well thought out plot which could’ve just as easily been swept under the rug of two HUGE brands colliding. #TheSimpsons

4) This was Matthew Nastuk’s third directed episode of The Simpsons for this season, and this was his best work by a mile. #TheSimpsons

5) This is the first of many cross-overs to come with Family Guy and Futurama up to bat next season. #TheSimpsons

6) Roger’s plot was the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. #AmericanDad

7) And I’m pretty sure we saw an episode of Family Guy with Meg and Peter working on the same team which lead to issues. #AmericanDad

8) Loved the parallels between Family Guy and Castaway #FamilyGuy

9) Meg’s been popular this season. Meg Stinks, Fistful of Meg, etc, she’s all over. #FamilyGuy

10) Cleveland comes back! #FamilyGuy
