So, for ultra-power androids, finding a vehicle is top priority over programming. So Androids 16, 17, and 18 end up stealing a van. In android speak, calling “shotgun” means taking the back of the van. Meanwhile, Krillin, Trunks, and Tien are flying towards somewhere, and they tell Trunks the reason why Goku didn’t take his medicine was that it was grape flavored. Tien needs to pick up Chiaotzu, who was at Kame House, turning Oolong into a pig cannibal with Cashew Ramen with pork.
Trunks and Krillin made it to Goku’s, where Krillin lets his boner do some talking and asks Trunks if he thinks 18 is cute. Trunks coldly tells him no, and Krillin calls dibs. Krillin goes to open the door, when he is knocked upside the head with it by Chi-Chi. The Krillin Owned Count is up to 31. Thanks to Yamcha, we get a Dragon Ball Kai flashback to the last two episodes, and he looks terrified. As Krillin tells the group they have no time, the Androids are casually stopping to just rip apart a couple of cops.
The gang moves Goku, thinking of what Vegeta is doing. It turns out that he is having a hissy fit. Gohan comes back, and overprotective Chi-Chi is going to never let him out of her sight. Everyone gets on the ship, and they depart. Tien makes it there first, and tells the people at Kame House that Vegeta broke both of his arms trying to fight them. Suffice to say, they still haven’t beaten the Androids.
On Kami’s lookout, Piccolo is still waiting for Kami to give him an answer about fusing together. On the carrier ship, Trunks and Gohan get into the different theories of time travel. You would think the person who traveled back in time would be able to keep up. Gohan schooled everyone, and he’s only 9. Bulma calls, and there’s that awkward silence between her and Trunks. So, this really is how awkward sexual advances between mother and sons are! Yajirobe is still at Capsule Corp causing a ruckus while Bulma is trying to get some very important information across to the group. Turns out that there is a second time capsule running around.
This episode continues the slow burn to Cell. And hopefully we get a payoff next episode. Piccolo and Kami are still putting off the fusion, so there are a couple things that need to be done. Unfortunately, nothing really stands out from last episode. 16 is pretty funny, both when he calls shotgun, and when he meets the cop. Actually, all three androids are funny here. The awkward silence between Trunks and Bulma still works, because it’s just something never touched on in the show. Thankfully, Team Four Star just takes the tucked away details, and blows it up. One other thing worth mentioning is the bit with Chiaotzu serving food to Master Roshi and Oolong. Before this episode, I didn’t know pork cannibalism was taboo. You learn something new. Hopefully, a lot of this gets put to rest, and we can get into the meat of this season.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
